Superb quality four straight drawer chest of drawers, Nice clean example with figured mahogany draw fronts. satinwood stinging on the canted corners and drawer front fieldings. Raised on bracket feet. Georigian serpentine chests of drawers remain the most opulent of all chests of drawers. Although in recent years these chests have come down in price along with most other good furniture, this situation will not last. These kind of fine chests of drawers in good condition were sold between £4-7000, not so long ago.
