  Monart Glass established 1865 made at Moncrieff glassworks in Scotland by Salvador Ysart, a Spanish glassworker. It became a great success in the 1930’s and became Scotland’s answer to the French art glass movement. The firm stopped production in 1961 due to the changing fashion tastes making it more difficult to obtain the bold pre-war colours.
