A Victorian military officer’s pattern sword with 83 cm etched and fullered blade, pierced steel basket hilt and silver-wired fishskin grip, 88cm scabbard a/f, no chipping; pommel firm; wires intact but a little rusty; Weight – 16oz Point of balance approx 12 cm along the blade from the handle.
