SOLD ALBERT EUGENE LECHAT Oil on canvas ( 1863 – 1918 )
A very beautiful large signed and dated 1890 oil on canvas by the French painter Albert Lechat. This large signed and dated work depicts the interior of a beautiful salon – showing sculpture, paintings and rich furnishings with flowers and the light coming from a window in the top left corner. The work is unlined on its original canvas and in its original frame.

Born 1863, in Lille; died 19 August 1918, in Berck-sur-Mer.
Albert Lechat took part in the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, of which he became an associate member in 1903.
