Cecil Rochfort Doyly John Large Oil painting on canvased board. A superb Impressionist painting of Venice by this renown English artist Doyly John. Ever more popular and becoming highly collectable. This is one of his few 1950s oil paintings of his visit to Venice. Ony the second one we have ever had. Most of his works are of South France harbour seascapes. His technique and skill with a palette knife are quite special. An artist we expect to rise in value over the next years. There are many already asking 2000 plus for his larger works.
