SOLD Large William Barr. Scottish oil painting. (1867-1933)

A superb painting by one of Scotland’s renowned 19th-century artists, depicting a Scottish river with cattle and hay stacks, etc. in the background. William Barr moved to California in his later years (SanFransisco), where he continued exhibiting and painting until he passed away in 1933.

Signed lower right.

The painting is protected under glass, ready to hang, held in its original exhibition frame.
