On offer is striking sterling / solid silver cased heating box for curling / hair tongs. With floral and scroll motif design and still unengraved. Hallmarked Birmingham 1894 by the high quality maker Carrington & Co (John Bodman Carrington) of Regent Street London. Spirit, wicks, etc.  A wonderful display piece / curio of the time. French retailer.
